Counting Stars MV于2013年5月10日在路易斯安那州新奥尔良拍摄，2013年5月31日发布。MV中乐队在阴暗潮湿的地下室演奏歌曲，值得一提的是还有鳄鱼在地下室来回游荡，在地下室的上层有数人正在进行宗教活动以祈祷自己能够得到金钱和名利，在MV的最后，有一个人因为地板破裂而掉入地下室，宗教活动也随之暂停，在场的所有人都在惊讶地围着地板破洞看着下面的乐队成员。歌曲和MV传达了当今社会人们对名利的渴望而造成的巨大压力以及人们应该从中摆脱回归自由。
